Details
Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Potomac commissioned Sarah to created two larger-than-life sized sculptures, The Virgin Annunciate and St. Joseph, the Carpenter, cut from Carrara marble for their new sanctuary. She articulated the clay sculptures in her Maryland studio, then, per Renaissance tradition, she sent the plaster casts to a marble carving studio to be copied.
