St. Raymond's Altar Design and Renovation

Our project for St. Raymond’s was focused on the transformation of the altar. A new reredos was designed by CJK Sacred Space. The artifact is hand carved in white oak, stained and gilded in 22.5 karat gold leaf. A glass and marble mosaic was designed for the altar wall to enhance the space and add a dramatic backdrop for the ascending Christ figure. The crafting and installation of the mosaic was done by our studio. The photos illustrate the dramatic transformation of the existing space.
