Work Philosophy
I approach architecture and the design of ‘Sacred Spaces’ holistically. The design of the project should fit well within the existing context of spaces, buildings and the environment. As well, the design necessarily needs to engage the community and users of the space to their purpose. ‘Sacred Space’ can be experienced as a space for religious ritual, but also as a space that can be regarded as spiritual; that which lies beyond the practice of devotion.
