Work Philosophy

I believe that great art helps create space for contemplation, conversation, and connection. Through the common language of the human face and figure, I seek to make sculpture that provokes insight into ourselves, the saints, God, and our fellow humans. The long process of creating a sculpture in clay becomes a meditation, as I consider the pose and expression that best communicates the spiritual, physical, and emotional state of the subject.

Services and Qualifications

Indoor and outdoor figurative sculpture in bronze, plaster, and resin.

I work with clients through each stage of conception, creation, and installation of a commissioned work to ensure it is artistically excellent and meets my client’s need and vision. Special attention is always paid to the design and preparation of the intended installation space.

I have been creating sculpture in bronze, plaster, and resin for over twenty years. My sculptures have been exhibited and received awards in local and national competitions and exhibitions. In addition to my membership with ACLS, I am a member of Christians in the Visual Arts and the National Sculpture Society.

I have served on committees to design installations for the liturgical year as well as consulting on the design for a gallery within a worship space, as well as a baptismal font.
